Our cooking classes take place every 6 to 8 weeks exclusively in Porta Westfalica. Experience an evening with lots of fun, interesting information about cooking with fish as well as aquaculture and pikeperch in general and of course delicious food. The cooking and eating takes place together with 8 to 12 cooking participants in a private fun atmosphere.

The cooking course starts at 6 pm and lasts about 4 hours. The cost is including drinks, small guided tour and lecture all-inclusive at EUR 89.00/person. You are welcome to purchase fish or fillet on this occasion after advance booking and take away afterwards.

The process of the evening:

In principle, the cooking course (always on a weekday) starts at 6 pm. However, we ask interested people who would like to get a brief insight into our facility in advance to be there already at 5:30 pm. After the tour we will start with a short introduction to the program and we will show you how to get a fillet out of a round fish. Under guidance, one or two participants can try this out and imitate it afterwards.

Andrea Hillbrand of www.andrea-s-kochwelt.de then leads us through the evening with a changing 4-course menu around the theme of KAISERZANDER, seafood and seasonal foods. We cook and eat together in a private fun atmosphere. Between courses or during the meal we also tell something about aquaculture and pikeperch by means of a screen presentation.

  • Cooking class starts at 6 p.m. (tour of the facility at 5:30 p.m. if interested).
  • The cooking class lasts about 4 hours in total.
  • The location of the cooking course is exclusively Porta Westfalica.
  • The cooking course will take place with a minimum of 8 acceptances and a maximum of 12 cooking participants.
  • In total, there is a 4-course menu around the themes of KAISERZANDER, seafood and seasonal food.
  • The costs include drinks, a small guided tour and a lecture at a flat rate of EUR 89.00/person.
  • You are also welcome to purchase fish or fillet by advance order and then take away.

The procedure as well as important information about your booking:

  • After booking via the form below, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
  • Please reply to them and provide us with your billing address.
  • Thereupon you will receive the invoice from us. After payment, your place is reserved and the booking is binding.
  • Approximately 10 to 14 days before the selected date, you will receive a reminder email from us with more information about the event.
  • Usually the minimum number of participants is reached so that the event takes place. If this is not the case, we agree together on an alternative date or refund the amount paid on request.
